Configure optional settings to improve AI-generated test case quality and relevance for your projects.

Requirement Custom Fields

Purpose: Provide additional context from Zephyr requirement fields to the AI for more accurate test case generation.

How to Configure

  1. Navigate to SettingsCustom AI Integration Advanced Settings
  2. Click on the Requirement Custom Fields dropdown menu
  3. Select one or more custom fields from your Zephyr project
  4. The AI will use data from these fields along with the ticket description to generate more contextual test cases

Example Use Cases

Acceptance Criteria

Include the "Acceptance Criteria" field for more precise and targeted test scenarios

User Story

Add the "User Story" field to provide better context about user needs and expectations

Technical Specifications

Include "Technical Specifications" for detailed and technically accurate test scenarios

💡 Tip: The more relevant context you provide through custom fields, the more accurate and comprehensive your AI-generated test cases will be.

Default Language

Purpose: Generate test cases in your preferred language to match your team's workflow and documentation standards.

⚠️ Note: The language setting applies to all test cases generated within the project. You can change this setting at any time in the project configuration.

Best Practices

Start with Essential Fields

Begin by adding only the most critical custom fields (like Acceptance Criteria). You can always add more fields later as needed.

Keep Field Data Updated

Ensure that the custom fields you select contain up-to-date and relevant information for the AI to generate accurate test cases.

Match Team Language

Set the default language to match your team's primary working language for consistency across all documentation and test cases.
