Terms of Service

1. Overview

Reqase provides AI-assisted functionality to help QA professionals and software teams generate, refine, and manage test cases within supported platforms such as Jira.

Reqase is built and operates exclusively within the cloud infrastructure provided by Atlassian and does not provide independent hosting services or standalone SaaS environments.

The App leverages third-party AI models (including OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude) to deliver AI-assisted features.

AI-generated outputs are produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs before relying on them in production or documentation.

2. License and Access Rights

Subject to these Terms, Reqase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for your organization's internal business purposes and in accordance with applicable Atlassian Marketplace policies.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App except as expressly permitted.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the App to develop competing products or services.
• Circumvent access controls or security mechanisms.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Reqase.

3. Use of AI Services

Reqase integrates with third-party AI providers to perform content generation and language processing tasks.

When AI functionality is invoked:

• Task-relevant project content (e.g., issue descriptions, requirements, test documentation) may be transmitted for processing.
• Data is transmitted securely.
• AI outputs are returned to the Atlassian environment.
• Reqase does not independently collect personal data from end users. Any personal information contained within customer project data is processed solely for the purpose of delivering requested functionality.
• If your organization configures its own OpenAI or Azure OpenAI subscription, data processing is governed under your organization's direct agreement with that provider.
• You remain responsible for ensuring that your use of AI services complies with applicable laws, internal policies, and contractual obligations.

4. Data Handling and Storage

Reqase does not operate independent hosting infrastructure, external databases, or standalone production servers.

All primary data storage occurs within Atlassian Cloud under the customer's Atlassian subscription.

Limited application-level caching may occur within Atlassian-managed storage environments for functional purposes, including:

• Improving performance
• Reducing redundant AI processing
• Supporting short-term operational continuity
• Such cached data remains within Atlassian infrastructure and is subject to defined retention controls and automated deletion policies as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Reqase does not maintain independent backups of customer project data.

5. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Reqase may:

• Modify or enhance features at any time;
• Suspend or discontinue functionality;
• Update pricing or subscription terms with at least thirty (30) days' notice before material changes take effect.

Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how information is accessed, processed, and safeguarded within Atlassian infrastructure.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including software, design, trademarks, documentation, and underlying technology — remain the exclusive property of Reqase or its licensors.

You retain ownership of your project data and any AI-generated outputs produced through your authorized use of the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Reqase disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements;
• AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or error-free;
• The service will operate without interruption.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reqase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to:

• (a) your use or inability to use the App;
• (b) AI-generated content;
• (c) third-party services; or
• (d) unauthorized access to or alteration of data.

In all cases, Reqase's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reqase and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

11. Changes to These Terms

Reqase may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the App interface or the Atlassian Marketplace listing at least thirty (30) days before taking effect.

Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
