Terms of Service

1. Overview

Reqase provides AI-assisted functionality to help QA professionals and teams generate, refine, and manage software test cases within supported platforms such as Jira. The App leverages third-party AI models (including OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude) to deliver intelligent automation and productivity enhancements.

By using Reqase, you acknowledge that AI-based outputs are generated automatically and may require human review before use in production or documentation.

2. License and Access Rights

Reqase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for your organization's internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms and applicable Atlassian Marketplace policies.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App other than as expressly permitted.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
• Use the App to develop competing software or services.
• Circumvent any access controls or security mechanisms implemented in the App.

Reqase reserves all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms.

3. Use of AI Services

Reqase integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or others) to perform natural language processing and content generation tasks.

• Data Processing: Only project-related text (e.g., requirements or test case descriptions) may be transmitted for AI processing. No personal or sensitive data is intentionally collected or stored.
• AI Output Responsibility: AI-generated content may include inaccuracies or incomplete information. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI outputs before applying them in your project workflows.
• Custom AI Integrations: If your organization connects Reqase to its own OpenAI or Azure OpenAI subscription, all data handling is governed under your organization's direct agreement with that vendor.

4. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Reqase reserves the right to:

• Modify, enhance, or discontinue features of the App at any time, with or without notice.
• Update pricing or subscription terms with at least 30 days' notice before any material change takes effect.

Your continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms or pricing.

5. Data Privacy

Reqase does not store personal data and operates in compliance with applicable privacy laws and best practices. Details of our data handling and security commitments are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including design, trademarks, documentation, and underlying technology, remain the exclusive property of Reqase or its licensors.

You retain ownership of your own project data and any outputs generated through your use of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all associated content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranties.

Reqase specifically disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated outputs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reqase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from:

• (a) your use or inability to use the App;
• (b) any AI-generated content or third-party service; or
• (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

In all cases, Reqase's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for use of the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reqase and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• (i) your use of the App;
• (ii) your violation of these Terms; or
• (iii) your infringement of any intellectual property or privacy rights.

10. Changes to These Terms

Reqase may modify or update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App interface or the Atlassian Marketplace page at least 30 days prior to taking effect.

Your continued use after such changes signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.
